Michael's Story
Hello To anyone who wants to know what I am doing I am still with the Love of my life Tami who currently has a inoperable brain aneurysm which is inter-cranial which means its partially inside of a bone mass that they have to lift her brain out and cut into bone to reach it which renders it inoperable with today's technology. I was rocking running my pop culture business selling toys and television personality and everything from Barbies to rare advertising icons .I was doing up to 28 shows a year all over from Vegas to Atlantic city to Chicago and Ohio to Kalamazoo Mich. Since Tami's diagnoses and the slow down in economy I just watch the market and sell to some old customers as well as do some business online . I don't drive a Vette and I do not have the payments. I learned young to do what makes one happy and I have always lived that way no matter what happens do what you like and you will be a happy person .I do not have children so it has allowed me to live a life where I have traveled and done what I want when I want where I want with a great soulmate .I have three wonderful black dogs Labs and a part chow and wolf mix. I walk them everyday rain or shine and I walk the and think everyday about the day I will not have them to love .I love my dogs I love my wife and i love my bird.Hes a little guy and been with me for 13 years now with my dogs and wife of 28 years . I started my business in Niagara Falls five minutes from the border on main street in 1990 and started doing shows a year later and started to travel all over the USA . I have a huge education and a great reputation among the high end collectors . I have put together some collections for many people who trusted me to shop for them and I ...Expand for more
was a professional shopper for many years with a great client list .My wife and I were a great team and we worked great together for many years . I still follow all of our investments selling high buying low but its a tough market and the economy has killed most shows .I do a lot of home cooking for my wife and I take care of my dogs .I love going to live shows and catching old and new talent. I traveled with my wife all over and spent a lot of time going to shows all over California while I lived there for 12 years before moving to Niagara Falls for a 5 years or so.My wife's company moved us here to S C when they started the company in S C selling to the Automobile industry.I was in a bad auto accident with my wife in California and hit by a drunk police officer doing about 50 and rear ended at a stop light .I would say that changed my life I was working out everyday , I was running five miles a day and then I could not lift a gallon of milk for over a year after the accident .I have not run a mile since the accident either so I would say it took a lot from me I was a athlete and after I was not all because of a drunk driver and he had hurt other people prior to me and he was still driving .I don't care much for drunks and I am sure you understand if your one of them as it took everything I worked for away from me for the rest of my life . I always remembered what a teacher had said to me while in high school and that was to do what makes you happy in life and you will be happy. I have lived doing what I want to do and I appreciate all I have and I am grateful for making it this far. If your not happy then get there before its too late .Peace LOve I have things to do and miles to walk before I SLEEP .
